A state of emergency has been declared in Ridgecrest after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake rocked the Mojave Desert and was widely felt around Southern California Thursday morning, the Fourth of July, 2019. The quakes were felt by many as far away as Long Beach, Fresno, Las Vegas including San Diego County!
OCMFEST (Multi-Cultural Fest) joined with Red Cross and Bolsa Tickets had an awareness event in front of Bolsa Tickets to educate Vietnamese on how to prepare when the next quake hit. City Council Tai Do from Westminster and Duke Nguyen Senior Detective were at the event to support it, foods were provided by Burgerim and drinks were provided by Quoc Viet on the event.
